Synopsis
QUINCEANERA is a look at what happens when teenage sexuality, age-old rituals and real estate prices collide. It is a story fueled by the racial, class and sexual tensions of Echo Park, a Latino neighborhood in transition. QUINCEANERA swept the Sundance Film Festival, winning the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award, the first film do so in seven years.
