Synopsis

FRIDAY, MARCH 30, 7:00 PM @ THE GILLIOZ: After nearly two decades of painstaking restoration, the beautiful Gillioz Theater has finally reopened its doors to the public. The final, most crucial step in the rebirth of the Gillioz will be returning film to the big screen in Springfield's largest movie theater, and to that end the Moxie and the Gillioz have formed a unique partnership to do just that. The fundraiser will help raise money for the 35mm projector and screen restoration.

We'll be having a FREE screening of PRESERVE ME A SEAT, a festival documentary about historic theater preservation across the US, including appearances from the filmmakers and several other notable speakers, at The Gillioz on Friday night, March 30th. Open to the public. Come one, COME ALL!!!
