Synopsis
November’s Local Filmmaker’s Series highlights FLYING TIGER, filmed in Stockton, MO. This is a story about an arrowhead hunter on the hunt for the elusive boy who may or may not have supernatural powers. Following the “films du terroir” movement (roots films, films about humanity) that is sweeping the international market, Flying Tiger is beyond a family film. It harkens back to a pre-suburban existence in America and is about tradition and old values. It makes the land the real leading lady.
Two showings only – don’t miss it, or your chance to have a Q&A with the writer / director, Keith Alan Morris and his wife / producer, Kendra Jones.
