October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and we hope that this film can foster conversations about safe and healthy relationships in our community. Harmony House provides shelter, advocacy, and education to survivors of domestic violence and promotes the principle that all individuals have the right to life free of abuse.
The Last Drop is a 40 min. sci-fi film about relationship abuse inspired by the memories of real survivors. It's designed to reveal the lesser-known forms of abuse like emotional abuse, digital abuse, and isolation tactics. The filmmaker, Adam Joel, is also a survivor / activist, who’s using this project to lead an international campaign, shining a spotlight on the most hidden forms of abuse.

The mission of Harmony House is to provide shelter, advocacy and education to survivors of domestic violence, and promote the principle that all individuals have the right to a life free of abuse. Harmony House was started in May of 1976 as a grassroots, volunteer-led effort to provide emergency shelter to survivors of domestic violence. What started in local homes has grown into the largest domestic violence shelter in Missouri. Since then, Harmony House has expanded consistently - seeking to provide comprehensive, survivor-centered services to help foster long term healing.
